Saturday morning Ballet Lessons

This morning as usual Caroline and I woke up for our Mommy And Me Ballet Lessons. Since it was warmer, I let Caroline wear her tutu that her Aunt Linda gave her for Christmas. She was so excited that she finally got to wear it. She has played in it so many times. We had a really good class today. My little ballerina cooperated and was very spunky today, even though some of her moves look more like something from Flash Dance. I got some cute pictures this morning, and some pictures of her as she decided to add some clothes to her tutu while she waited for her mama to get dressed.

Caroline and Madelyn's Playdate

Yesterday we met Rachel and Madelyn at McDonald's for a playdate. Caroline had a great time playing with Madelyn. She loves the McDonald's inside playground in Evans. She has just started being able to pull herself up onto one of the shelves that houses one of the slides. Now whenever we see a McDonald's she goes crazy and instantly starts squealing and jumping up and down wanting to go in and play. It's really convenient for us to go there because we can sit and eat and watch her play. We try to go at least once a week.

Easter Dinner and some Birthday Celebrations

Today we had our annual Easter Celebration at my Aunt Linda's like we always do, but since it fell in March we celebrated three birthdays along with Easter. There was Cousin Wylie's 2nd Birthday, Aunt Christina's 29 th Birthday, and Cousin Jenny's 28th Birthday. We ate our customary meal of ham and squash caserole and macoroni and cheese. And this year for the first time in many, many years we had an Easter Egg Hunt. It was so much fun. Caroline and Wylie caught on right away and had a wonderful time.

Easter Sunday at Church

We all went to church this Sunday and Caroline looked so cute in her little pink dress that her Aunt Christina gave her for Christmas. Since it was such a cold Easter, all of the sleevless dresses just didn't work out. I have two really adorable ones that I am going to use for Caroline's Fitz-Symm's pictures but they would have been too cold for this morning.

Easter Morning and the Easter Bunny

The Easter Bunny did make a stop this morning for Caroline. She woke up to find an Easter basket this morning. She immediately "oohed" and went directly to it. Her favorite things were the plastic eggs that were in it.

Dying Easter Eggs

Tonight I dyed Easter eggs with Caroline. What fun it was! I have to say our Easter eggs definiitely look like a two year old was involved; however, I enjoyed it as much as she did. I haven't dyed Easter eggs in over twenty years or so:) It has been so much fun having a little girl for Easter. Picking out Easter dresses and Easter bunny items. Here are some pictures from tonight. Caroline would aplaud after every egg was dyed. It was so cute!

From Highchair to Big Girl Chair

I just bought Caroline her first booster seat. She loves it. I think it is time to say goodbye to her highchair which is sort of sad to me. I guess it will be the same when it is time to put up her crib. She was so much the little girl sitting there eating her chicken and dumplings at the table. I miss my 3 and 1/2 pounder:)
