Caroline at the Rivershyre Playground

Robert took these pictures this afternoon when he took Caroline to the Rivershyre playground. Mommy was out shopping:)

Making a Mess

Today our Caroline decided to get everything out of her two toy boxes. Some of these toys we haven't seen since last Christmas. Anyway she made a HUGE mess today:)

Potty Training

A friend at work gave me this super duper potty to help Caroline with potty training. I brought it home this weekend and it seemed to get her interested. Here are some really cute pictures of her on the potty today, and of her washing her hands in the kitchen sink.

I have been so busy at school helping Carol, my media clerk, with our school's audit over the last few weeks. It has been so hectic at work lately with regular library stuff and this audit. Well today the auditor came, who was actually a really nice guy, but sort of reserved. It was hilarious because we had to do the lunchroom today. Before they would let us step foot in the lunchroom, we all had to wear these hats. This is what they wear instead of hair nets. I'm serious! These are the hats that the lunchroom workers gave us to wear-even the poor auditor.

Arts in the Heart

Today Caroline and I went to the Arts in the Heart of Augusta Festival with Rachel and Madelyn. We met them at the Trinity on the Hill consignment sale, then went to breakfast and then went downtown for the afternoon. We all had a great time. Caroline and Madelyn had a great time being out together. They got to play on the playground, have balloon flowers and butterflies made for them-Caroline was not at all impressed by this, and listen to an alternative girl band play. Both girls seemed to really like the band:) It was a beautiful day to be out and about and finally when we left, Caroline fell asleep on the car ride home. She's sound asleep now-giving old mom a break:)

Dancing Dress

This is Caroline's very favorite dress. My mom and I call it her dancing dress because she always wants to wear it and whenever she wears it she invariably will ask to dance. Tonight when she was wearing it, Robert and I took her out to eat at Goolsby's and Caroline go out of her seat and said, "Daddy, let's dance." After her bath this evening, she got out of the tub and tried to put the dress back on. She had a little tantrum when I told her it was dirty and wouldn't let her. My mom got a really good laugh out of this tonight because she said that Caroline was definitely my daughter. I guess that makes her Brat #2 :)

Dad's Birthday

When we told Caroline that we were going to Papa's house for his birthday, she yelled, "Cake!" There is nothing better in life than birthday cake and homemade ice cream for our sweet Caroline. Who has lately become very bossy and demanding. She is very sweet but bossy:) My Aunt Linda describes her as a fiesty little hummingbird. I thought that was a perfect way to describe her. She knows what she wants in life and no one is going to walk over her :) Anyway, we had a great time at Dad's birthday party.

From Kitty Cats to Planes and Trains

It has been a while since my last couple of posts because we've all been getting back into the routine of back to school. I love my new job, but it is definitely starts a lot earlier for everybody. I have to be there at 7:00 a.m. so everybody has to get up about an hour earlier. The good part is that I can walk out of the door at school at 3:00 p.m. I have been so tired once I have gotten home and it has taken a couple of weeks to get used to this new routine. I think the same goes for everybody-even Caroline. She does like to sleep late. This morning she slept until 9:30 a.m. We've all had a really good labor day weekend. These pictures were taken yesterday right before Christina and Dwayne stopped by. Christina just got back from Ireland last week so we haven't seen her since the beginning of August. Caroline was so excited to see her Aunt Ting Ting:)
