This evening we decided to take our Snookodoodles to Hopeland Gardens in Aiken. I love to go there every Christmas. It is so pretty and elegant. I'm sure to a two year old it is almost magical. Anyway, we explained where we were going and she was so excited before we left as you can see from the first few pictures from below. We dressed her in her warmest coat and mittens and off we went. We had to take a shuttle to actually get to the House and Gardens but that was very easy and for Caroline a lot of fun, since she got to ride a bus. At the Gardens, Robert and I decided to let Caroline take the lead and wander wherever she wanted to go. So we followed Caroline as she meandered down the beautiful paths of lights, constantly "OOHING" and "AHHING". We loved seeing her excitement. It definitely makes you realize that this is what makes Christmas fun. Living it through Caroline's eyes. Anyway after several rounds through the Gardens, our little Snooks began to weave and wobble, becoming very tired. . .so we decided it was time to leave. Once we arrived home and put her in her jammies and played our nightly game of "Hide". We put her to bed. What a wonderful evening we all had!
